Criminal Law

Defence and complainant-side representation at trial, in bail, and on appeal.

Overview

The firm has appeared in criminal matters at Udhampur for three decades — from first bail applications before the Sessions Court to appeals and revisions before the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Our practice is defence-led but we also act for complainants, particularly in matters arising out of property and commercial disputes.

Our approach

Every criminal brief begins with the case diary and the charge sheet, read line by line against the statute. We identify the prosecution’s weakest link before drafting a single application, and we tell the client plainly what the record supports.
